  • Dr. Vimal Edachery received his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, in 2021 and continued his research as a Research Associate at IISc. He acquired his M. Tech from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka and B. Tech from the Govt. College of Engineering Kannur. He was working as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the University of Padova, Italy, before joining IIT Madras in 2022.
  • His research interests include Tribology, Eco-Friendly Lubrication, Electric Vehicle Lubrication, Corrosion, Engineered Micro-Nano Surfaces, Tribology of 2D Nano-Materials, and Implant Biomaterials.
