Subhajit Biswas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Madras. He earned his Master’s and PhD from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, followed by post-doctoral work at the University of Southampton (UoS), UK. His research expertise lies in the fundamental and applied aspects of fluid dynamics, including, multiphase flows (laminar and turbulent), building aerodynamics, ventilation, passive scalar (pollutant) dispersion, drag reduction in turbulent boundary layers, flow over bluff bodies, bio-inspired propulsions.
