  • Hasan obtained his B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Patna and later pursued M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zurich. He was then associated with the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems as a Guest Scientist. He later joined the European Union's Marie Sklodowska-Curie ATLAS project as an Early Stage Researcher under their Innovative Training Network program, where he completed a joint PhD - receiving a PhD in BioRobotics from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Italy, and a Doctor of Engineering Technology from KU Leuven, Belgium. Subsequently, Hasan worked as a postdoctoral researcher at The BioRobotics Institute of Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in Pisa, with an additional affiliation to the Department of Excellence in Robotics & AI, before joining IIT Madras.
