  • Arvind Pattamatta is a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He received his Ph.D. from SUNY, Buffalo, NY in 2009. He is the recipient of Alexander von Humboldt fellowship for the year 2013, INAE Young Engineer Award for the year 2015 and JSPS invitational fellowship for the year 2017. His research interests are in the area microscale energy transport and thermal management of devices. He has authored more than 140 publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He is current Secretary of the Indian Society for Heat and Mass Transfer.
