Dr. Manish Anand received his Ph.D. from the School of Mechanical Engineering, Purdue University in 2018. He received his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Allahabad in 2011. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center from 2019 through 2020. He joined Emory University as a research scientist at the Sports Performance and Research Center in 2021 for 10 months.
His research interests include human lower extremity movement biomechanics, sports biomechanics, pose estimation, legged robotics and computational human motion simulations. He is also interested in neuro-mechanistic understanding of human movements and related pathologies.
