Dr. Advaith Sankar received his PhD from Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore in 2020. He graduated with a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati in 2013. Subsequently, he was with Hero Motocorp Ltd., Gurgaon, India. He was a postdoctoral researcher at University of Nottingham, UK before joining IIT Madras in May 2022.
His current research interests include renewable energy storage systems, machine learning applications towards energy systems and fluid flow, fluid flow diagnostics and vortex rings.
