M.Tech

Department offers a post graduate degree program M.Tech (2 years) in three major streams.

Admission to these programs is possible under two categories

M.Tech (Regular)

Students under this category are admitted based on their rank in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) only.

M.Tech (Sponsored/QIP)

Few seats are also available under sponsored/QIP category in which the candidates are admitted through personal interview. To be considered under sponsored/QIP category, the candidate must be a full time employee of the sponsoring organization.

Mr. Arnab Chakraborty received INAE's Innovative Student Project Award at Master's Level for the year 2022. He is one of the 8 awardees in 2022 and the only recipient from IIT Madras. The department is proud of this achievement and congratulations to Arnab and his research advisor Dr. Srikrishna Sahu
